Description
The Borneo Skink (Dasia vittata) is an endemic skink to Borneo. It has a robust body and can easily be recognised by its black and white striped head accompanied by the brownish-grey body with dark and light spots. The Borneo Skink inhabits lowland primary and secondary rainforests. It is a diurnal and arboreal species, spending most of its time on trees up to approximately 37m. It consumes ants and other small insects (Das, 2010).
