Description
Aerodramus fuciphagus is a small bird of the swift family measuring about 11-12 cm long and weighs 15 to 18 grams. It is also known as White-nest Swiflets. This species can be found in South-east Asia (Thai National Parks, 2018) where it occurs in Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste and Viet Nam (IUCN, 2016). The White-nest Swiflets has paler plumage on the underparts and blackish-brown upper parts. Its tail is slightly forked while its wings are long and narrow as well as the bill and feet are black. It feeds on flying insects which are caught on the wing and often feeds in large flocks with other species of swiftlet and swallow.
