The cap of this fungus is hemiscpherical, glabrous with a dull sheen, concentrically shallowly furrowed, yellowish buff becoming darker brown with age and margin white. The pores are cream, very minute, and almost invisible to the naked eye and round to angular while the flesh is white and corky. The fungus can be found growing on dead branches and logs.
