Description
Smooth-backed Gliding Gecko is very similar to Kuhl’s Gliding Gecko but it differs by having the tail lappets directed somewhat backwards, the absence of enlarged tubercles on the dorsum, and the first finger separated from the skin flap along the forearm. Normally active at night and it can occasionally be seen resting on a tree trunk by day. It jumps off and uses the skin fringes to glide to another tree, or at least break its fall.
