Bengkel Kemasukan Data Malaysia Biodiversity Information System (MyBIS) bersama pihak Bring Back Our Rare Animal (BORA)

Bengkel Kemasukan Data Malaysia Biodiversity Information System (MyBIS) bersama pihak Bring Back Our Rare Animal (BORA) telah berlangsung selama dua (2) hari, iaitu pada 10 dan 11 Jun 2026 di Rizab Hidupan Liar Tabin, Lahad Datu, Sabah. Bengkel ini bertujuan mempromosikan MyBIS sebagai platform bersepadu bagi penyimpanan, pengurusan dan perkongsian data biodiversiti negara secara sistematik.

Seramai 22 peserta telah menghadiri bengkel ini, mewakili pelbagai agensi dan organisasi termasuk BORA, Forest Research Centre (FRC), Conservation & Biodiversity Unit (CBU), Sawit Kinabalu Berhad, dan Stesen Penyelidikan MPOB Lahad Datu.

Kehadiran pelbagai pihak ini mencerminkan komitmen bersama dalam memperkukuh pengurusan maklumat biodiversiti Malaysia.

Selain sesi kemasukan data, pihak MyBIS turut meneroka peluang kerjasama strategik jangka panjang bersama Dr Zainal Zahari Zainuddin, Pengurus Projek BORA dalam usaha memperkukuh pemeliharaan dan dokumentasi biodiversiti negara.

Inisiatif penubuhan Pusat Biodiversiti Malaysia (MBC) telah dibentangkan kepada peserta bagi tujuan mendapatkan kerjasama, sokongan dan maklum balas.
