MyBIS Colouring Contest

Terms and Conditions

1. The contest is open to all Malaysians aged 5 years and above. All MyBIS staff and their immediate families are NOT entitled to participate in this contest.
2. The contest will be held from 21st of December 2016 to 31st of January 2017. Any submissions received after the contest period has ended will not be entertained and will be disqualified.
3. Submit by messaging us on Official MyBIS Facebook Page or email to hello(a)mybis.gov.my. Upon submission, contestants are required to provide us with your personal information :-
   1. Full name
   2. MyKad No. or MyKid No.
   3. Parents’ or legal guardian’s name and MyKad No. for contestants of 17 years old and below
   4. Contact No. (Mobile)
   5. E-mail
   6. Home address
   7. URL Facebook
4. There is no limit to the number of submissions and all submissions are free. However, each contestant will be entitled to 1 prize only.
5. The contest will be judged based on 3 categories :-
   1. Category A : Kids of 5 - 12 years old. (5 winners)
   2. Category B : Teenagers of 13 - 18 years old. (5 winners)
   3. Category C : 19 years old and above. (5 winners)
6. Contestants must complete the colouring contest by themselves without assistance from a third party. Colouring can be done manually or digitally.
7. Any submission via postal services will not be accepted.
8. All submissions shall become the property of organiser. All decisions made by the organiser and the judges will be final and no disputes will be entertained.
9. Top 5 winners for each category will be chosen based on the numbers of likes and shares on Facebook post by Official MyBIS Facebook Pages only. Winners will be announced through Official MyBIS Facebook Page. If despite all reasonable efforts, the organiser is unable to locate or contact the winner, another winner will be selected.
10. Contestant will be allowed to start collecting shares and likes as soon as their submission is posted on official MyBIS Facebook until one week after contest submission is closed.
11. The prizes is as below and shall be awarded to the winners via postal services :-
    • Coffee Table Book "Birds of Malaysia - Malaysia Biodiversity Information System"
12. The prize must be accepted on “as-awarded” basis and cannot be transferred, returned, substituted, or redeemed for cash. MyBIS shall be entitled at its discretion to replace all or any of the prize with items of equivalent value and shall notify the same to the winners.
13. The organiser reserves the right to withhold the prize or disqualify any contestant’s entry in the event that any contestant fails or refuse to comply with this Contest’s Terms & Condition.
14. By participating in this contest, all contestants and their parents or legal guardians are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
15. MyBIS reserves the rights to amend the Terms & Conditions contained herein, wholly or in part at any time and to end the contest earlier or extend it further at its absolute discretion without notifying the contestants.
