Maritime waters within two nautical miles from the outermost points of the island as measured at low water mark. Northern boundary landmarks are Kuala Merchang and Kampung Kuala Abang (Tanjong Jara). Gazetted under the Fisheries Act 1985 (Fisheries (Prohibited Areas) (Rantau Abang) Regulations 1991).
