Description

Calamus diepenhorstii, commonly known as rotan or rotan kerai, is a clustering moderately high climbing rattan that can reach up to 20 m from the forest floor. The colour of its leaf sheaths are dull grey green and when it is dried, the colour can turn to pale brown. This rattan is widely distributed in Peninsular Malaysia.
