Description
The fruit body of this fungus is tough and leathery, widely concentrically zonate, at first cream, then with a dark reddish brown, dark brick, to dark chestnut cuticle covering nearly the whole surface with a white margin. The pore surface is white to cream while the pores are irregular and sinuous to elongate. The flesh is white and this fungus can be commonly found growing widely effused along fallen branches and logs along the trials.
