The shaped of the cap for this fungus is like a fan or bivalve shell with pale brown colour, tan to brownish orange, finely radially fibrillose with a thin and wavy to lobed margin. The pore surface is yellowish to pale orange turning brown with age. Its pores are round when young becoming angular and elongated with age. This fungus grows on dead branches and wood and can be found along the trails at FRIM and also common in Malaysia lowland rainforests.
