Description

This fungus has semi-circular shaped, purplish pink to pale rose brown in young specimens and becoming darker to almost blackish brown with age. It is smooth to shallowly groove with concentric zones and margin acute. The underside of the cap is pale pink becoming pinkish brown with age with tiny and round pores. This fungus grows on dead wood and causes a brown rot.
