Description
Mops mops is known commonly as free-tailed bat in English or Kelasar Lubang Kayu in Malay. It can be identified by the uniform dark brown to reddish brown upperparts and underparts. The crown of head is nearly naked. The large and rounded ears joined across the top of head by a narrow flap of skin. This species has only one pair of upper premolars. It can be found in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. This species roosts in hollow trees and caves.
