Ahaetulla mycterizans or the Malayan green whip snake is a green, long, and slender snake. A white line extends along the outer edge of its ventrals scales throughout the length of its body. This snake is arboreal and occurs in primary and mature secondary forests near streams. This species inhabits the forested foothills of southern Thailand, Laos, Peninsular Malaysia, and Jawa. It preys on cold-blooded preys such as frogs, toads, and lizards. Although this snake has a mild venom, it is considered as not highly venomous and is harmless to humans.
