The coloration of Blanford’s Gliding Lizard at the upper patagium differs between males and females. It is uniform olive-grey with fine longitudinal light lines or with darker olive mottling and a few red or maroon flecks on the outer posterior area in the male while in both sexes, the lower wing is unmarked yellow. Five ribs are presence to support the patagium, obliquely directed nostrils and a low caudal crest in the male, confirms the identity. It inhabits evergreen forest and lays up to four oval eggs.
