Five-banded Gliding Lizard is recognized by the pattern of the upper patagium such as sharply defined black and orange bands continue across the back, with a series of white spots in the center of each black band. The patagium is supported by six ribs. The male’s yellow dewlap is long and narrow, tapers to a fine point and is covered with small scales. It inhabits at tall evergreen lowland rainforest and four eggs per clutch are laid by females.
