The given variable is not an array and contains a null value.
The violet cuckoo (Chrysococcyx xanthorhynchus) is a species of cuckoo under the family Cuculidae. Their range of distribution are from the north-eastern India to Southeast Asia. They can be found in orchards, gardens, and rubber plantations. They can fly up to 1,500 metres a.s.l., however they often hover at or below 700 metres. Although they prefer insects, violet cuckoos occasionally eat fruit. They are brood parasites of the brown-throated and purple-throated sunbirds (Jeyarajasingam, 2012), and lay their eggs in these birds' nests. During mating season, males are noisy and active in order to attract females. Meanwhile, females become secretive after mating as they search for suitable nests to lay their eggs.
