The body of Indo-Chinese Wolf Snake is black and crossed by 13-39 yellow bands with 8-18 on the tail. This sensitive snake hides under debris un shaded area by day and hunts lizards and frogs at night. About 5 eggs per clutch are produced by females. It inhabits lowland and hill throughout Thailand, in northern Peninsular Malaysia, Yunnan and Indo-China.
