The Keeled Rat Snake is one of the largest species in the genus of Ptyas. They have a dark coloration body and ranging from jet black, bluish-gray to brown. The head is brown above, white below and distinct from the neck. These snakes can grow over 3 meters in length and sometimes it is called “King Korros”. Besides feeding on rodents, they are also cannibalistic and feed on other snakes.
