Description
Burmese python is a large attractive snake that has a stout yellowish to light-brown body. A series of black-edged, dark-brown blotches is superimposed on the lighter ground colour. The top of the head has a pale arrow-shaped mark. The belly is white or cream. This python lives in forested plains and hills up to 900 m. This python is a powerful ambushing constrictor and adults are dangerous. Eggs are laid in clutches of 30-58, hatchlings are measured around 120 x 60 mm (Das, 2010).
