The head of Malayan Many-toothed Snake is reddish to dark brown anteriorly, black posteriorly and the neck is pale orange. The body is grey-brown to brown with a black stripe on the vertebral. This species has relatively distinct head, a cylindrical body covered with smooth scales, a very long tail and round pupils. It usually found near streams in rainforest up to 1,000m. Its feed skinks, frogs, tadpoles and grasshoppers.
