This snake can be found in the montane areas of Bogor. It inhabits leaf litter and mossy areas, which are cool and damp. These small snakes usually have a grey or dark brown coloration and are specialist feeders that only feed on small frogs. The most interesting characteristic of this snake is the ridges along its back, which gives it the name ‘Dragon Snake’.
