The given variable is not an array and contains a null value.
Erythropitta granatina or commonly called Garnet Pitta belongs to the family Pittidae. Garnet pitta can grow up to 18 cm and has a black forehead, throat and cheeks. The mantle and wings colour are dark electric violet-blue. There is bright iridescent pale blue colour along its wing coverts, a narrow line below its hind crown, rump, upper tail coverts and wash on its upper breast. It has a bright red crown, nape and underparts. This species occurs from south Tenasserim, Myanmar through the Malay Peninsula to Sumatra and Borneo. However, it was locally extinct in Singapore since 1949 (Jeyarajasingam & Pearson, 2012). The population declines due to the loss and degradation of lowland rainforest.
