Description

False Crown Anemonefish’s body is moderately deep and compressed; uniserial teeth on jaws; weakly emarginated caudal fin and no conspicuous projecting spine-like rays at upper and lower edges of caudal-fin base. Its ground colour of head, body and fins are orange with three broad white bars and fins with marginal or submarginal narrow black areas. It found in coral reefs to depths of 15 m and the most common anemonefish found in coral reef of Malay Peninsula.
