Description

Pellucida Pygmy Goby has relatively short and compressed body; slightly compressed body; almost separated pelvic fins; naked head and pectoral-fin base; sensory canals and pores present on head and reduced longitudinal pattern of sensory-papillae rows on cheek. When alive, head and body are subtranslucent with two narrow longitudinal yellow stripe from eye to middle of body; longitudinal white stripe on belly and colour immediately turned to pale yellow or pale reddish yellow after death.
