  Part Habit
 
Epiphyte   —   Growing on another organism but not parasitic. Not growing on the ground.
Occasional to common epiphyte 1–2 m up on 10–30 cm diameter rotten trunks and fallen logs in light to deep shade, sometimes by streams.
 
Lithophytes   —   Plants that grow in or on rocks
Lithophyte on granite, in ridge crest, ridge slope and valley lower montane forest from c. 900 to 1500 m.
