So far we know little about the species, apart from its appearance.

Habits

Epiphyte   —   Growing on another organism but not parasitic. Not growing on the ground.
Rare to common epiphyte 1–2 m up on 5–10 cm diameter stems and branches, including Oxyspora acutangula King (Melastomataceae), in fairly deep shade in ridge crest lower montane and upper montane forest from c. 1200 to 2000 m.
