Description

Habenaria carnea is a monopodial and terrestrial plant which flowering in October. The stems of this species are very short with five leaves. The leaves are found at the base, leathery, dark green with pale white spots and pale white broad media band. The inflorescences of this species are terminal and produce a few flowers that open at one time with pale pink colour. The distribution of this species occurs in Langkawi and Peninsular Thailand. In Perlis, this species was found on Bukit Rongkit and Bukit Merah.
