Lentaria micheneri is known as a coral fungus which can be easily recognized by its finger-like growth. This fungus has a white spore print and fairly tough flesh features helping to define the genus Lentaria. Its branches are usually vertically oriented, tightly packed, often sharp and forked (Kuo, 2008).
