Phricotelphusa hymeiri is a type of freshwater crabs found in the limestone cave in Perlis. This crab species has very long ambulatory legs, broadly T-shaped abdomen for male and subovate carapace. The colour of the crab is dark orange, while the chelipeds and legs are darker colour. The species epithet is named after the collector Mr. K. Hymeir, the past President of the Malaysian Karst Society (Ng & Lee, 2012).
