Description

Body of Brownbanded Cuskeel is elongated and compressed but not attenuate; bluntly rounded snout and well-developed eyes. It has long dorsal and anal fins; pelvic fins closed to each other that located below level of posterior margin of eye. Its body is silvery white with 3-4 broad; several brown blotch on dorsal and caudal fins and anal fin with a brown stripe basally. It commonly found 10 cm length and inhabits in moderate to deep waters at depths of 57-99 m.
