Description

Flat-tailed House Gecko or Cicak Ekor Pipeh in Malay is one of the most common house geckos. It is recognized by its flattened tail, the webbing at the base of the fingers and toes, and the fringe of the skin along the body. The coloration varies greatly from uniform pale grey, through mottled brownish-grey, to a series of distinct, dark, diamond marks and a dark flank band on a grey base. It is active by day and night. It occurs in a wide variety of habitats from dry forests to human habitations. It feeds on a variety of insects and spiders (Norhayati & Chong, 2016).

Habits
