The blacks-striped Frog (Sylvirana nigrovittata) is a medium–sized frog. The dorsal part is pale brown to dark brown, while the flank or the side of the body is generally darker than the dorsum. In contrast, the ventral part is cream in colour with dark spotting. The tips of all four fingers are swollen into small discs with circummarginal grooves (Sheridan & Stuart, 2018). The average full-grown adults have about 60 mm of snout-vent length (SV), occasionally reaching 75 mm. It has visible typanum. This frog species inhabits in primary forest, cultivated area or plantation and freshwater wetland (Norhayati et al., 2005). The altitudinal range of this species is at 0 - 2,500 m a.s.l. The distribution of this species is widespread where it can be found in China, Indonesia, India, Cambodia, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Myanmar Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.
