Description
The White-eared Tree Frog is a very small tree frog, with outer fingers only about one-third webbed. This species has been found in primary forest at elevations below 750 metres. It is known in Sabah, Sarawak, Brunei and Kalimantan (Inger et al., 2004). This frog has finely pebbled skin in the back and coarsely pebbled on its belly. The colour is leafy green on all upper surfaces, usually with white spots scattered over the back, head and exposed surfaces of the limbs. The lower sides and belly are without pigment. The webbing is black and the hidden surfaces of the thigh have an orange tinge (Inger & Stuebing, 2005).
