The taxonomic status is pending for approval


Oreogrammitis kunstleri Parris is endemic to Peninsular Malaysia and was found only from Gunung Ledang, Johor last collected in 1880. Since then, despite Gunung Ledang being visited by various fern collectors, this species had not been rediscovered.
