Description

During late evening or night time at mangrove areas or large drainage systems in North Jakarta, the Dog-faced Water Snake or Schneider’s Bockadam out hunting prey in the water. These snakes live in brackish water, which is a mixture of fresh and salt water. This snake grows up to a little under 1 meter and has a grey or dark brown coloration with dark markings on its back.
