Description
Reeves’ Smooth Gecko (Scincella reevesii) is a type of diurnal skink found in Asia. It can grow up 13 cm in total length with 6 cm SVL. It has a slim body and bronze brown in colour. There is a black dorsolateral stripe extending from the eye to the tail, which is broken up by some cream spots. This species inhabits forest hills up to 1,500 m a.s.l. It hidden among fallen leaves and other forest floor debris, hunting insects and other small invertebrates included crickets, termites, beetles larvae and woodlice (Das, 2010).
