Description
Camacinia harterti is a species of dragonfly that belongs to the family Libellulidae with the hindwing measuring up to 47 mm in male and 47.5 mm in female. The male individual has almost similar marked as female with a little more developed dark streaks at base of the wings. It is recorded from pristine lowland lakes and sub-montane forests at the altitude from 250-600 m above sea level. The female is recorded ovipositing in a large water-filled buttress pan in Sumatra, Sundaland (except Java) and Thailand (Orr, 2005).
