The given variable is not an array and contains a null value.
Teinobasis cryptica is a species of Odonata in the family of narrow-winged damselflies. It is known from Brunei, Peninsular Malaysia, Sarawak and Singapore (Dow, 2019). This species can be found in a tiny swamp pool along a small side stream. It prefers to cling to the underside of leaves just above the surface of swampy pools, where its colouration provides it a perfect camouflage (Dow, 2010).
Teinobasis cryptica has a very slender abdomen, predominately pale greenish coloured with the last three abdominal segments dark when mature. The eyes are emerald green. In dorsal view, the labrum is pale while the postclypeus and frons are mostly dark. The rest of the head is metallic green with a pale, small narrow stripe running down the back. In lateral view, the prothorax is pale green and the pronotum is dark. The synthorax is greenish brown lateral-dorsally, where the green colour becoming more vivid towards the middle before fading away ventrally. The legs are pale cream and the spines are dark (Dow, 2010).
