Description
Leptogomphus risi is a slender and medium-sized gomphid with greenish yellow markings on the body. Its hindwing may measure up to 30 mm. This dragonfly has round, pale superior anal appendage while its inferior anal appendage is very broad, as long as superior anal appendage with lateral synthoracic markings distinctive (Orr, 2005). L. risi is rare and known from lowland forest streams, including disturbed forest (Dow, 2011). It occurs in Peninsular Malaysia and southern Thailand (Orr, 2005).
