The cap of this fungus is pale to dark yellow without any tinges of green, smooth, dry and convex with depressed centre and becoming almost funnel-shaped and wavy. The underside of the cap has thick, long and short but shallow gill-like folds while the stipe is cylindrical and the same colour as the gill-folds. This fungus has an apricot aroma and it can be found under various dipterocarps at FRIM and growing in large numbers over extensive areas.
