Description
Diard’s Blind Snake is one of the largest blind snakes in both length and thickness. The eye is visible and the body is dark brown at the upper while much lighter in colour at the sides and belly. There is no sharp line of demarcation between dark and light colours. This snake lives at 150-1,525m, under soil or surface debris and in rotten logs. There are 4-14 eggs per clutch. Its diet included insects and their larvae, as well as earthworms (Das, 2010).
