Plexippus paykulli is a common jumping spider belonging to the family Salticidae. The males are conspicuous with their contrasting black-and-white patterns. The females are very similar to those of P. petersi, but they are much larger and heavier. The egg sac is guarded by the mother in a silken chamber built in a shelter corner or a suitably-sized crevice.
The male can reach up to 9 mm, while the female can reach up to 10 mm. It can be seen in the wall of buildings and tree trunks. It is widespread in most countries in Southeast Asia (Koh & Bay, 2019).
