The Everett's Flying Frog is a small stocky frog, with slender, long legs and a short, blunt snout. It inhabits primary submontane and montane forests from the altitude 1,100 to 1,800 metres above sea level. It is often found in mossy areas, as on fallen logs near streams. This frog is only known from Palawan in the Philippine Islands (IUCN SSC Amphibian Specialist Group, 2018).
The species has rough upper surfaces skin, with many tiny pointed and a semi-circle of spiky projections scattered over the head and body. Its forearm and lower legs also have a row of small, cone-shaped projections along the outer edge. These frogs are mottled in colours from light green to dark brown. It has dark colour on the top of its head, with a light bar between the eyes. The back is a mixture of patched of tan and brown. The upper thighs are usually greenish-yellow with brown spots while the underside of the legs is green (Inger & Stuebing, 2005).
