Amphidromus martensi is a land snail belonging to the family Camaenidae. The shell shape is either sinistral or dextral. The shell is rather thin and large, which its shell height ranging from 29.7 to 49 mm and a shell width ranging from 19.2 to 32 mm. The colour of the shell ranges from white to lemon yellow to green to reddish-brown or reddish-purple, with a white subsutural band. This snail is endemic to Borneo, where it is common in the primary and secondary forests in Sabah and Kalimantan. It occurs in coastal vegetation on various types of bedrock, at an elevation from 0 to 1,900 m a.s.l. (Vermeulen & Liew, 2022).
