The given variable is not an array and contains a null value.
Hydropsyche doctersi, more commonly known as net spinner caddisfly, is one of the largest order of aquatic insects and occupies freshwater systems. These caddisflies are restricted to flowing waters, from small spring streams to large rivers. This species has a high abundance and wide range of pollution tolerance. Thus, it is a good indicator in freshwater biomonitoring programmes. These aquatic insects build tubular retreats and spin silk nets which are similar to that of a caterpillar. These nets are built to catch their food consisting of algae, small invertebrates and detritus. Mesh sizes and shapes will be different according to different types of caddisflies and the type of food they are targeting. It has plain hairs with minute spines on its abdomen or body. The hair will collect what they caught in their nets while they walk over the net. They can usually be found at the areas with cobble or bedrock substrate where solid structures are available on which to attach their nets. They can also be found on large woody debris and submerged vegetation. It is widespread in rivers occasionally along Sungai Kuda, Sungai Ular, Sungai Telang, Sungai Teluk Major, Sungai Semelian, Sungai Papan and Sungai Kooi and througout the world.
