Argiope dang is one of the large spiders that have an abdomen with striking colour. Its size can reach up to 14 mm. This species can be found in rainforest, especially at areas close to the stream. The visible pattern of banded silk made by this spider is pure white. This species was first found and described in 2009 in Laos and later on recorded in Malaysia and Thailand.
