Adiantum alleniae is a type of fern which has the lithophyte characteristic as it grows on vertical limestone cliffs in moss surrounded by tall forest. The rhizome is short and erect while the fronds can grow up to 36 cm long and 3.3 cm wide. It is only known in Perak, Peninsular Malaysia at the moment due to insufficient data. This species is named after the collector, who is Betty Molesworth Allen (Lindsay, 2018).
