This species is a small fungus. It has faint mouse grey fibrils cap with 20-42 mm in diameter, convex-plane to slightly concave in the dark mouse grey centre becoming paler and almost white towards the striate margin. The flesh is white and thin while the gills are white and relatively uncrowded. The stipe is white to pale mouse grey and hollow with a narrow white ring midway. This fungus can usually be found every rainy season and also found in other lowland rainforests in Peninsular Malaysia.
