This fungus has wide cap and convex when young but it becomes convex-plane with a depressed centre or concave with a flat margin as it ages. The surface of the cap is smooth but slightly sticky or viscid. The gills are ivory coloured abd crowded. It has also been found in other lowland rainforests in Peninsular Malaysia and it is common during the rainy season and often abundant.
