This fungus has wide and convex cap that expanding to plane, dirty cream to straw coloured turning brownish with age, smooth and not striate at the margin. The flesh is thick and cream coloured as are the gills while the stipe is smooth, solid and firm, cream to buff coloured and darker at the base. This species grows gregariously and is fairly common in FRIM and in other lowland dipterocarp forests.
